Over a decade ago (while still at Sun) I wrote an article about DRM explaining why it was a short-sighted, greedy technology that was going to render our culture inaccessible to future generations. Depressingly, almost all that I wrote then is still relevant, so I have reworked it and posted it to mark the protest day today.
